Air France La Première first class review
CDG-SFO, 777-300ER, seat 1L. Award ticket + cash upgrade from business class.
I had a truly magical time in La Premiere. I was the only passenger in the first class cabin, the service was top notch, food was excellent, and the entire experience end-to-end was tough to find fault in.
Highlights:
• Private personal escort the entire day (at both CDG and SFO)
• Private car transport from AF lounge to planeside
• Only LP passenger on the flight – my own apartment in the sky! The FAs were more than happy to make up the seat next to mine as a bed.
• Food and service were truly excellent – dining was per my own schedule, so I could request to eat whenever I pleased.
• Champagne and caviar service
• Pajamas, slippers, fully stocked amenity kit
• My own private jetbridge – I was the first passenger to disembark by a good minute or two (–> first in line at customs)
